3. Choose Verify as student/educator to initiate the verification process.
4. Provide school details and the student’s email address.
Choose the country, your school, name, and date of birth.
5. Get your Pro access
After successful verification, the account is granted Pro for 12 months.
6. Subscription details
Once active, subscription status and remaining time appear in account settings.

How to Claim:

Steps to Claim:
1. Go to the claim page
click “Claim 12 months of Perplexity Pro.”
2. Sign in or register a Perplexity account.
If you don’t have an account, you can register using Google, Apple ID, or Email.
3. Link your PayPal account.
Log in with your PayPal account and confirm.
(If you just created a new PayPal account, you need to wait one month before you can claim!)
4. Get your Pro access.
You will be redirected to the event page showing your free 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription.
The next billing date will be one year later. Just accept the offer to activate.
5. Subscription details.
Your subscription details will then appear in your account.
How to Cancel Auto-Renewal:
Make sure to cancel Perplexity Pro auto-renewal in advance to avoid getting charged after one year!
On the Perplexity website, click Account (bottom left corner), then select All settings.
Go to Manage Subscription.
You will see the next billing date (one year later). Click Cancel subscription, then confirm with Yes, cancel subscription.
After cancellation, your free 1-year Perplexity Pro subscription will remain active until it expires, so you won’t lose access immediately.
